About NITP Exam Registration

The Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) presents a comprehensive syllabus for the Urban and Regional Planning Professional Qualifying Examinations based on the Minimum Guide Syllabus designed by the Town Planners Registration Council (TOPREC).

It is expected that the syllabus in the universities and polytechnics should have all the specified courses and contents in their programmes as minimum to attain TOPREC accreditation. A guide has been documented in the NITP Exam Information handbook for use by students desirous of making a career in URP through the Professional Qualifying Examination of the Examination Board as well as institutions /facilitators mounting programmes relating to the profession.
